HEMC SY 2022-2023 PROGRAM OFFERINGS

Is your child ready for school? We have flexible program offerings lined up starting January 2022 that might be suitable for your child.
At HEMC, we believe that quality preschool benefits a child for life. For this school year, we are continuing our Modular Distance Learning Program with flexible options that cater to your family’s educational needs.

Summer 2020

** In accordance with the guidelines and imposition of an Enhanced Community Quarantine and Social Distancing Measures, our SUMMER CLASSES are CANCELLED. **

HEMC SUMMER CLASS PROGRAM 2020 (APRIL 20 – MAY 22, 2020)

Time Schedule: 8:30 – 11:00am and 9:00 – 11:30am

Introduction to the Montessori Method : Familiarization with the Montessori Method of Instruction; Getting to know the teachers and environment, Learning daily routines, etc.

Summer Class 2020 Typical Schedule

Mondays to Thursdays

First 1 hour and 30 minutes Montessori Materials

Introduction of Montessori materials, individual and group work.

Next 30 minutes Ellipse Time

Group activities such as introducing one’s self, singing, dancing to put children at ease and prepare them for individual work. The togetherness promotes friendship and peer relationships.

Last 30 minutes Physical Development and Grooming

Done at the indoor playground, through stretching exercises, organized and free play.

Children change after playing before being dismissed.

NOTE: Snacks are served an hour after class starts, in small groups of students at a time.

Friday

First 45 minutes Developmental Free Play with educational toys

This involves playing with molding clay, construction blocks, board games to develop creativity.

Next 30 minutes Group Snacks

Next 45 minutes Arts and Crafts/Cooking / Music and Movement

Activities involving special projects like crafts, painting, experiments, baking or cooking with ellipse time for music, movement and group interaction.

Last 30 minutes Physical Development and Grooming

Done at the indoor playground, through stretching exercises, organized and free play.

Children change after playing before being dismissed.

NOTE: Please let your child bring the following to school everyday:

  1. a complete set of clothes( dress/pants, shorts, shirt/blouse, underwear, socks) for changing after play time and emergencies (spillages, wetting, etc.)
  2. face towel or lampin
  3. basic toiletries like powder, cologne, comb/brush
