Progress Assessment

The school’s primary duty to its students is for them to learn without pressure that they may enjoy going to school and learn through discovery. We encourage the parents to bond with the children when they are at home. Reading to them is one effective way. We also encourage parents to talk to their children in simple but correct English.

There are no grades, or other forms of reward or punishment. Assessment is by teacher’s observation and record keeping. Towards the end of each quarter, a progress report is presented. However, anytime during the school year, parents may confer with the Head Directress / Class Directress to discuss the progress of their child, and other concerns.

Progress indication is expressed in the following:

B- Beginning

D-Developing

AP-Achieving Proficiency

P-Proficient

A-Advanced
